He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Sharon, Russ, Ron, Debbie, & All your families,
Robert and I continue to send you hugs and Blessings. Dick was such a very special spirit to all of us. He was always there for us and our family. He came all the way to Burnaby and Smithers along with you,Sharon. We so enjoyed our times together. He was always there to welcome us at Priest Lake as well. He had a special way of holding the McInerney family together...of keeping us distant McInerneys close. I will always appreciate Dick's life.
Love you all.

Sharon, I was saddened to learn of Dick's passing. I first met and worked together with Dick in the Spokane Toll Room on 3rd trick. Dick would always find a bright side to even the most unpleasant task. My prayers are for all of the McInerney family.

I love you grandpa! You are the best grandfather that anyone could ask for and I wish I had spent more time with you. You always took the most beautiful pictures and always had your camera in hand. I miss you and I will always remember the times we had.

Sharon, Lonna, Bob, Brian and Bill, we are saddened and shocked by news of Rich's death. When my brothers David and Bill and I were about the age of Rich and his siblings shown in the picture, visiting Uncle Eddie and Aunt Lucielle and our McInerney Cousins was always a special occasion - at their home in Spokane or, even more special, up on the lake. Our heartfelt sympathy to you all.

We send our deepest sympathy to all of Dick's family. He has always been a part of Priest Lake, and we will miss watching him swim to the "resort" and back each day in the summer, having him go by with his fishing pole in the boat, or quietly paddling past in the kayak at dusk. We will miss his big voice telling the dogs to be quiet! It was a pleasure to know him.

We heard the sad news about Dick while we are out of the area. We want to express our deep sympathy for how you must all feel. Although I have not seen Dick recently, it was always a pleasure to talk with him. Our deepest regards
