entered into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ on March 19, 2011. For the past six years she struggled with a brain tumor and spent her remaining seven months at Pleasant Haven AFH.
Carol was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on December 27th, 1937 and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1955. She worked at the Panida Theatre and Idaho First National Bank in Sandpoint. She graduated from Dresden Modeling School in Spokane, WA. She married Martin Craig on February 14, 1956. They moved to Spokane in 1965 with their children. All three graduated from Northwest Christian High School. Carol studied Interior decorating at Spokane Community College and soon after that worked 17 years with Home Interiors and Gifts, 10 of those years in management. Carol was the owner of Chelsea Charm and Modeling Studio in downtown Spokane, Finesse Finishing School for Girls and Kensington for Men. She enjoyed art, writing and photography. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Robin and (Gary) Palumbo, Ron and (Lisa) Craig, Jamie and (Brenda) Craig; six grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Stephanie Napier, Brittany Crews, Melissa Palumbo, Justin Palumbo and Alexis Craig; seven great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Dolores Holbert and Twila Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her late husband Lewis Denny, her parents Fred and Johanna Roe and sister Laurel Veltri. Carol had such a love for the Lord and her greatest joy was leading others to a saving knowledge of Him. She led a life of service to anyone in need. She will long be remembered by all who knew her. Our family wants to thank April, Dan, Jennifer and Silver at Pleasant Haven AFH for the personal care and attention that they gave our mom during her final months here. Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Christian Schools, 5104 E. Bernhill Rd. Colbert, WA 99005-9520. Closed casket visitation Friday, 1-5 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley, WA. A private family committal will take place at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
