This world became a brighter place January 13, 1982, when Adam Thomas Lindeblad was delivered to our family. He was born a ten pound beautiful baby kicking and screaming with the force of twenty. He came into this world battling his health and it was the one burden in a life otherwise filled with so many blessings. Adam was strong in the face of adversity, his bravery was boundless. He was kind, an animal lover providing what he could for cast-aways and strays. Adam was sensitive, gentle and caring, he was one to always root for the underdog. His spirit was just and hilarious and wonderfully unique. He was truly benevolent, sacrificing time and again for anyone or anything that he felt was in need of support. Adam possessed a fierce intellect, a penchant for math and sciences that will never reach its full potential. He was an accomplished fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors. Adam loved to golf, especially with his father. He fought severe asthma from infancy and was never able to fully breathe, a cruel reality for someone with his natural athleticism and competitive nature. He was a wonderful son, a reliable brother and a funny uncle. He was an adoring grandson, the best nephew that everyone deserves to have. He had been battling numerous diseases for the past decade, forging on with unparalleled courage, pride, hope and dignity. Adam had recently completed the following surgeries: a spinal fusion, a hip replacement, a knee replacement and the reversal and reconnection of his right arm ligature. He did all these things with a smile on his handsome face. He was completely fearless. Adam's fire burned out Tuesday, November 6, 2012 and this world became a little bit darker. He was deeply loved by many and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his father, Gary; his mother, Kris; brothers and sisters-in-law: Matthew and Kana and Brian and Allison; foster brother, Corey; niece Zyon; nephews Marley and Gene; his beloved grandmother, Virginia Jacobson; many uncles, aunts, cousins and valued friends. His light will continue to shine through us, even in his passing. In lieu of flowers the family requests, on Adam's behalf, that contributions be made to either the Spokane Humane Society, PO Box 6247, Spokane WA 99217 or to S.C.R.A.P.S., 2521 N. Flora Rd, Spokane Valley WA 99216. Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be held Monday, November 12, at 3:00 p.m., all at the funeral home. Private family interment will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Please visit Adam's online tribute and leave a condolence at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com.
