(Age 91)

Alfred L. Blenz of Spokane, Washington, born on January 25, 1927 passed away peacefully at age 91 with loved ones at his bedside on August 8, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona. Alfred (also known as "PELKIE" by classmates)graduated from Northport High School in 1946. Alfred served in the Army and worked as a courier driver until he retired in 2007.
Alfred is survived by his daughter, Shellie Daniels; son-in-law, David Daniels; brother, Keith Ogden; sisters, Lucille Lynch and Joan Thompson; and grandchildren, Tyler Blenz King, Rebekah Daniels, and Sarah Daniels. Alfred had many hobbies including singing, dancing, baseball and endless stories of the old days.
Alfred was a member of the Eagles Club in Spokane, WA and enjoyed the big band dances on a regular basis. Alfred was a very loving father and grandfather and never knew a stranger, he truly will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
