Anna Goldade Obituary

GOLDADE, Anna E.

Anna Eugenia (Hauck) Goldade passed away peacefully during sleep in the early morning of March 24, 2011. Anna was born to Frederick and Rose (Braun) Hauck on January 17, 1926 in Bismarck, North Dakota and was raised in the community of Beulah, ND.
She married Steve Valentine Goldade on October 2, 1944, who preceded her in death on October 29, 1998. Steve and Anna, with a couple of young ones in tow, settled in Silverton, Idaho in 1958 where they raised their four sons- Ron and Wanda Goldade of Brighton, Colorado- Brian and Lori Goldade of Deer Park, Washington- Tim and Cindy Goldade of Woodland Park, Idaho- and Steven Goldade (deceased 1978.) Together they loved boating, fishing, camping, dancing, and traveling during their fifty-four years of marriage. She is also survived by her sisters Loraine Pischel, Josie Ziegler, Kathy Breneman, and her brother Wilfred Hauck.
Anna was a devoted mother, grandmother (7), great-grandmother (16) and friend to many. She loved to dance and was an active member of many local dance groups throughout north Idaho. In recent years, she welcomed and cherished her best friend and companion Al Alkire who accompanied her to dances, drives in the country, shopping, and a host of good times. Anna will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
A graveside service in recognition of her life will be held at Coeur d' Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, Coeur d'Alene, ID on Thursday, March 31 at 2:00 pm. All those wishing to attend are welcome. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, ID
