Barbara passed away January 14, 2011 at her home with family at her side. She was born September 2, 1937 in Spokane, WA to Philip and Hulda Stoltz. She married Edward "Mike" Lannen in April of 1962.

Barbara worked and lived the majority of her life in the Silver Valley. She enjoyed her family and friends, reading, her flowers and the beauty of the outdoors. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church, The Smelterville Lions Club, and was an avid supporter of the Kellogg Elks.

Barbara is survived by her step children Bernard Lannen, Cataldo, ID, Maureen Boone, Santa Cruz, CA, and Michalene Hauser, Pacifica, CA; grandchildren, Brent Lannen, Anchorage, AK, Shawn Lannen, Calgary, B.C., Kimberly Stanphill, Auburn, WA, Jennifer Reno, Las Vegas, NV, Eric Flanigan, Morgan Hill, CA, Jonathan Lannen and Gregg Lannen of Kellogg, ID; twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, two sisters, her step son Vernon and her longtime companion Bob Turnbow.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Kellogg, ID.

Special thanks to her niece Sharon Lamm, and Friends Ruthie and Dave Lambert for their loving care during her illness. Thank you also to Hospice of North Idaho.
