Beth Hibbs Obituary

HIBBS, Beth Jean

Beth Jean Hibbs, a 16 year resident of Nine Mile Falls, WA passed away on May 24,
2011 at the age of 58. Beth was born on December 27, 1952 in Libby, MT the daughter of Willis Dale and Lila Grace (Davidson) Fields.
Beth was raised in Libby, MT where she attended school and graduated as a twelve year senior from Libby High School in 1970. While in school, Beth developed a love for music and sang in the choir as well as performing in the Jr. Miss program. Following high school, she moved to Spokane, WA and began working at the Lakeland Village in Medical Lake, WA while attended college at Spokane Community College. Beth married Michael Watkins in 1972 and they purchased a home in Spokane. They soon began a family with the birth of their daughter, Jennifer and three years later their son, Benjamin. Beth also worked outside of the home for MSC, a medical billing company. Beth's wonderful organizational skills and love of business complimented her success in the medical billing industry. Beth's marriage to Mr. Watkins ended in 1985. She then met, Mike Hibbs and they were married on Nov. 17, 1990. Together they moved to Nine Mile Falls where they have resided for the past 16 years. Beth continued her medical billing career at Fruci and Associates in downtown Spokane and then moved to the Spokane Valley when the company transitioned to Anesthesia Business Consultants Western Region. She had recently accepted a position as account manager, which was a supervisory and business expansion position that required a significant amount of travel and responsibility.
Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, colleague and friend. She loved to provide for her husband, children and granddaughter. Her granddaughter Chloe, was the light of her life! Beth gave her family and friends many beautiful needlepoint artwork pieces, which she hand made and had framed as keepsakes. She also enjoyed sharing time with family and friends at the theater, movies and musicals. Her beautiful singing voice was heard by many when she sang with the Spokane Symphonic Choir. The daily drives to and from work with her husband Mike, and the memories of their life experience from the first date to the most recent, Mike will forever cherish. Beth's adventurous spirit, love of life, creativity, strength, intelligence, sarcasm, unconditional love, loyalty and her steadfast presence will be deeply missed!
Beth was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Fields in 1998, father, Willis Fields and special grandmother, Grace Davidson.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our hearts to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing wisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever, the same. Rest in Peace.
