Betty Lucille

Betty Lucille Beaudette, 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her home with family by her side. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Resthaven Mausoleum, West Des Moines, Iowa.
Betty was born in Spokane, Washington and lived most of her life there until moving to Ankeny in 1999 to be with family. She was a homemaker her entire life and loved to garden. Betty was an active member in several women's clubs in Spokane, WA including a sanctioned garden club in which she won awards for her arrangements.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Rodney C. (Jane) of West Des Moines and John C. (Susan) of Ankeny; six grandchildren, Stephanie and Paula Beaudette, Joanne Hammon, Tony, Ronnie and Katie Jeffries; four great-grandchildren, Grayson and Jaye Hammon and Alec and Taryn Jeffries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney O. Beaudette and two sisters, Greta Barbara Burt and Jennie "Linnea" Karstad/Mossuto.
Memorials may be directed to WesleyLife Hospice.
