She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald Frederick Curtis, and a son, Nicolas Tracy Curtis, eight siblings, and her parents. She made many hats, scarves, and sweaters for her family and for charity.
"To my wonderful family and my many friends, who have made my life so good, I want to express deep appreciation. Having lived with God all my life, I am now happy to join Him in a closer relationship. I have been looking forward to joining the many who have already departed and will see all of you sometime in the future. God's Blessing and Love, Billie DeLong Curtis"
