Brady Maurice Spillane of Greenacres Washington passed away July 5th, 2018 at Kootenai Hospital at the age of 23. Brady was born in Great Falls, Montana on October 17th, 1994 to Linda and Mickey Spillane. Brady grew up in Greenacres, Washington and attended Central Valley High School and graduated in June of 2013. Upon graduation Brady joined the United States Army serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. After four years he returned home in 2017 and was employed with J&J Drilling, Inc. Brady loved his job and the people he worked with. Brady was passionate about his country, family and friends. He lived every day to the fullest. He loved to hunt, fish, workout and spend time with his family and friends. Brady will always be remembered for his love of life. He is survived by his mom Linda Spillane; dad Mickey Spillane; brother Cody Spillane; sister Brianna Johnston; nephews Winston Gorsline and JJ Moe; aunts and uncles Sabrina and Dennis Higgins and Randy and Lori Fernlund; grandparents Earl and Carolyn Fernlund and Jeanne Spillane, along with more great-aunts, uncles and cousins. Brady had many good friends that he considered his brothers, Doug, Tim, Alex and Robert. Brady spent his last days loving life doing what he loved to do being outside enjoying time with his friends. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Brady's name to Wounded Warrior Project. Viewing for close friends and family will be Wednesday, July 11th, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St., Spokane WA 99207. Brady's celebration of life service is scheduled for Thursday, July 12th at 11:00 AM at His Place Church, 3079 E. 16th Ave., Post Falls, Idaho 83854. Full Military Service will be at 1:30 at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, Washington 99022. Brady's family would like to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of love, support and prayers during this difficult time. Brady touched many lives and will be forever missed by all. We are truly grateful for his friend Alex for everything he did for Brady and his quick actions in calling 911. His family would also like to thank the Kootenai Sherriff's office dive team for everything they did for our son. We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Kootenai County Hospital and special thanks to Chaplain Bob Thomas, for being there for us during this very difficult time.
