I became acquainted with Carol while working at Citizens Bank (later Frontier Bank) in Marysville. Carol and Bob became wonderful friends and I missed them terribly when Bob retired and they moved to Spokane. We kept in touch by phone for many years and I had the privilege of visiting them in Spokane several times. After Dave and I moved to Idaho and we learned Carol was in Lake Stevens, we visited Carol a couple of times when we were in Washington.
Carol was truly a friend to be treasured and I will miss visiting with her on the phone now that she is gone. Carol is healed now from her physical illnesses and her blindness and in a better place. God be with you, Carol and Bob.

When thinking of my Aunt Carol, two very fond memories come to my mind that I am thankful for: An attraction and fondness for the lake' lifestyle, and for the memories of living with my Aunt and Uncle during the summer of 1981.
My grandparents started going to the lake and enjoying family events at Deer Lake and then Twin Lakes near Colville, Wa. Both Bob and Carol loved these places as well and from them and my grandparents, I too, shared in enjoying going to the lake'.
In 1981, I commercial fished out of Everett, WA and stayed with my Aunt Carol and Uncle Bob who then lived in Marysville, WA. While there she douted on me and got me to expand my palate to enjoy more fruits and vegetable in my diet.
My Aunty Carol was a very sweet lady, I loved and enjoyed her greatly. She will be greatly missed.

Your mom was an awesome friend to me when we worked together at Bank of Everett. I'm so sorry for your loss! Carol was a very sweet person. I will always remember that every payday, she would put $5.00 in each of yours, Bruce, and Brian's savings account. And then she would tell me that she would buy her own Christmas presents, and I believe she said wrap them for your dad also, and then he could put them under the tree, and she would always get exactly what she wanted for Christmas! Whether she did that all the time or not, I don't know, but it made for a great story! I thoroughly enjoyed your mom. For a long time afterwards, we kept in contact through Christmas cards.
