(Age 77)
Passed away April 2, 2011 in Coeur d'Alene. He was born March 1, 1934 in Rolette, North Dakota to Clarence and Cecil (Erickson) Johnson. While working at the Wilma Theater, Chet met Helen and they were married September 5, 1953 in Coeur d'Alene. Chet worked for Kaiser Aluminum and enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, at home, daughters, Vicki Forbes of Castle Rock, CO and Teresa Lasher of Coeur d'Alene, ID, grandchildren, Brian Forbes and Stacey Valenzuela of Arizona and Carrie Lasher and Carly Ahlstrom of Coeur d'Alene, brothers and sisters, Clarence "Bud" Johnson, Clarisse "Sis" Johnson, Corrine Zimmerman, Connie Carr and Canton Johnson and four great grandchildren. Chet is preceded in death by his parents.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
At this time, no services will be held. ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL, Coeur d'Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
