Daisy Vasse Obituary

VASSE,
Daisy Pauline

December 24, 1921 -
February 19, 2011

Passed away Saturday as she lived, with grace and dignity.
Daisy was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Hugh and Ella Rogers. She was raised in Prince Albert and Edmonton, Alberta with her brothers, Roy and Russell. In 1948, Daisy married Edward Gray Vasse. They raised two sons, Gray and Bob. She became a United States citizen while she and Ed crisscrossed the world with assignments in Canada, New York, Alaska, Texas, Japan, and Utah. In 1967, they retired to Spokane, Washington until Ed's passing in 2009. In 2010, Daisy moved to Huntsville, spending her last year close to her son, daughter and grandchildren. Daisy was welcomed in Heaven by those who went before her; Ed, Gray, Russ, Roy, Edna, Hugh and Ella. We will always miss her love of fun, family and laughter.
Daisy and Ed will return to Spokane for their final rest.

It was always an exciting time when your folks would stop off at the farm for a visit. They were likely going/coming to/from Prince Albert for a visit with Aunt Leafie and we were right on the way! I remember your mom as a lady with grace, kindly concern and having a sense of humour. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

Dear Bob, Cheryl & Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy over the loss of your dear Mom and Grandmother. The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear and I share your grief. Your mother had a magical smile, a wonderful sense of humour and a family bond that was to be admired. I know your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate her life which was well lived. I am so sorry for your loss…
