Deanna Desmond Obituary

DESMOND,
Deanna P.

In loving memory of Deanna P. Desmond. Born in California in 1940, she married Don Desmond and traveled with the Air Force until settling in Spokane in 1976. In 1979 she earned her Real Estate License and quickly rose to the top of her field, garnering the prestigious Million Dollar Club Award, retiring officially in January of 2011. She was adventurous in spirit, loved to travel and experience different cultures, and had an artistic talent she never had time to develop. Deanna had an intelligence and drive that set her apart from the crowd. The daughter of Leah Hale and George Walmer, Deanna is preceded by her siblings Dorothy, George, Robert and her twin brother Dave, and survived by her sister Jan; her children Doree, Dan, Doug, and Donna; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, seven nieces and six nephews. There is, of course not enough time or space to encapsule her zest for life, her compassion, and the breath of personality that made her so unique. She died too young, and will be greatly missed. She will be having a memorial at the Red Lion River Inn, 700 N. Division Spokane, WA Saturday the 12th of March, 10am to 12 pm.
