Denise P.
Passed away at home with her son Art on January 22, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV.
Denise was born in Nelson BC March 17, 1924, to Marguerite and Constantine Romano. Denise moved to Spokane, WA where she worked at the Spokesman Review until her marriage to John Spilker on January 20th, 1962. She is survived by her children Art Spilker (Lijing) of Las Vegas NV and Sandi Spilker of Seattle WA. Grandchildren; Jereme Spilker (Kaytee), Brandon Spilker (Erin), Chelsea Spilker and Jiawen Hu. Great grandchildren; Faelynn and Caleb Spilker, Sister Connie Fortier (Bob) and nephew Craig, and the youngest who replaced Art and Sandi after they have grown, Tony Moser. Denise is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Raymond Romano and husband John "Bud" Spilker.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 3720 E. Colbert Rd. Colbert WA. 99005.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Las Vegas, 5765 South Rainbow Blvd. Suite 111 Las Vegas NV 89118
Special thanks to mom's angels Kaytee and Lijing for providing comfort and love in her final days.
