Don touched many, many, many lives, including mine. The greatest thing I remember about Don was that no matter what we talked about, he would always point me back to God's Word. I love him and Amy very much. At this very moment, I'm imagining him in the very presence of our Saviour with that big ol' grin on his face and that laugh that we all loved so much.

Dear Amy and family,
Jim & I wanted to send you our love during your time of loss. Don & Amy were spiritual leaders during the time I was at CBC. I will never forget how Don & Amy gave their support to me while I was there, especially during difficult times. They truly care about what our Lord does. It gives me great peace knowing Don is with our Lord, face to face, as I know it does Amy and family. God bless you all, until we meet again, when we too get to go home.

Pastor Don's faithful walk with the Lord made so many, many lives better. His blend of steadfast spiritual guidance along with his unique and wonderful sense of humor shaped a ministry that had a huge impact on Spokane. I'll never forget the men's pajama fashion show at Shadle Park. I thought I'd die laughing when Don walked on with his full breathing mask and apparatus. I am grateful for Pastor Don. His life was a real testimony of God's power, love and mercy.

Pastor don was a great man of God. In 2001 while I was in treatment, broken, he and miss amy were there. He convinced me of something that no one up to that point had been able to do... That God still loved me. He supported me and my family for many years. I thanked him many times, for all the support he gave me. His humble reply was always the same, "it is not me, but Christ who is in me" R.I.P P.D., and thank you for showing us the way to do it

Pastor Don has been a presence in our family for almost 30 years. He married my husband and I and was forever supporting us and showing God's way. He will be greatly missed by us all. I hope he is in heaven with my Dad laughing and causing all kinds of trouble!

Thank you, Pastor Don, for blessing our family with your laughter, love, humor and most of all, your spiritual guidance.I have known you since I was a little girl and was so glad that you shared in the blessing of my son. You were an adopted grandparent and special friend and you will be sadly missed. This is a bittersweet loss. I know that you will be missed by many , but we are all smiling knowing that you have earned your wings and have finally met Him! We will miss you dearly, Pastor Don.
Love,

For almost 30 years Don has been part of my life.We met at Maplewood Gardens . He lived there and I worked there. We had alot of ups and downs but he found a great friend in Bob Smith and from then on there was no stopping this man. He served his Lord and was a true christian touching so many lives. In our home is was lovingly called the "Pope". A true friend laughs with you, cries with you, and that he has done. Whenever I needed him he was there for me. I could never have a greater friend and I could never be prouder of all he did. He was a gift in my life. I always called him my "miracle" friend.I thank the Lord every day for the blessing of this man in not only my life but in the life of each of my children. Gods speed my friend. You deserve your wings. Love Teresa
