Passed away peacefully March 16, 2011, in the presence of her family at Outlook Manor in Westerville, OH. She was born January 30, 1919 in Akron, OH to the late Thomas Jefferson and Olive (Norman) Starcher. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Irene Starcher, brother Chester A Starcher, step-mother Vena Starcher, son Gerald (Robert) (Ralston) Jonard, loving husband of 44 years Howard Alex Jonard, husband of 17 years Charles "Bus" Neville. She lived in Akron, OH, most of her life where she was a devoted wife and mother, served in the PTA, was a member of Eastern Star and taught church school at Margaret Park Presbyterian Church. After living for a while in Seville, OH, she retired with her husband, Howard, to Boiling Spring Lakes, NC, where she was active in the Dosher Hospital Auxiliary and at Southport Presbyterian Church. She is survived by step-sister Edith Cain of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC; sons Thomas (Christine) Jonard of Westerville, OH and Martin Jonard of Spokane, WA; grandchildredren Mark (Chris) Jonard of Lewis Center, OH, Sarah (Brian) Potter of Groveport, OH, Nathan and Nicole Jonard of Spokane, WA; great-grandchildren, Gwen, Gowan and Gaibel Jonard, A. J. and Mia Potter and Kyle Jonard. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Outlook Mannor. The family also wishes to thank the staff of Harbor Light Hospice: Lauren, RN; Heather, CNA; Kelly, LPN and Rich, LISW for their caring assistance. Friends may call 6 to 8 PM Monday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville. Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 41 W. College, Westerville.
