CLARK, Evelyn March 7, 1926 - January 12, 2014 Evelyn was born in Ty Ty, Georgia, to Leonard and Delia Walters, the oldest of three children. After graduating from high school, she attended Business College and worked in Atlanta where she met her first husband; they had four children: Vivian, Mary Lynn, Tony and Tom. In 1971 Ev was introduced to Charlie Clark, a retiring Marine. They quickly became best friends and on December 17th of that year she became Mrs. Clark. Not long after, she retired from Civil Service and for several years they were full time RV'ers. Ev was quick to tell you the most scenic route, the best places to camp and the cheapest fuel in most of the lower 48. At some point along the way, Charlie was offered a consulting position in Selma, Alabama. Needing a break from the highway, he went back to work (more fun than work) and Ev fished 'every' day. She loved Family, Fishing, Football (the right teams and right QBs) and meeting up with old and new friends along the highway. In 2002 they pulled an unexpected play; on short notice, they packed up, pickup up and moved to Spokane, to be near family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Venetia Donnan; and her daughter, Mary Lynn. Remaining and missing her: her husband, Charlie; her kids, Vivian Woods, Tony Shinskie and Tom (Darlene) Shinskie, all of Spokane; four grandchildren, Joshua Shinskie, Kyle Glover, Georgia Oswald and Lora (Pete) Senf; her "babies" (great-granchildren), Ian, Colten, Josslyn. Martin and Miriam; and her brother, Gene (Betty) Walters of Dothan, Alabama' and brother-in-law, Hugh Donnan, of Sumner, Georgia.
