NELSON, Gary A. (Age 73)

It is with great sorrow that Gary A. Nelson passed away on March 22, 2011. Gary was a lifetime resident of Spokane, and graduated from West Valley High School in 1955. After high school, Gary enlisted and served in the U.S. Army, returning to Spokane to marry his wife of 52 years Deanna, and raise five children on a small farm south of Spokane. Gary drove truck at Perry Brothers for many years, and then moved on to Spokane County as a Superintendent for Hangman Valley Golf Course where he retired. He is preceded in death by his wife Deanna, parents William and Marjorie. Gary is survived by his brother William; five children: Timothy, Russell, David, Gretchen, and Kristen; eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the relatives, friends, and neighbors for all their prayers and support. May God Bless you all. Please send all cards in care of 4110 N.
