Hazel Eileen
Hazel Roef was born December 2, 1929 in Sydney, Australia and passed away peacefully on April 22, 2011. Although she left a small piece of her heart in her homeland, she made Spokane, WA her home since the late 1950's. She was preceded in death by her husband Juliaan Roef and granddaughter Lauren Rector. Survived by her children Reggie (Candy) Sutter, Gary (Gaye) Sutter, Chris (Jim) Wigginton, all of Spokane, WA; Carol Sutter of Madera, CA; Mike (Dawn) Rector of Seattle, WA; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Hazel worked in the accounting department at the Ridpath Hotel for over 30 years. Her pleasures were simple; tea and crumpets, a good book, planting flowers in her garden and spending time on the Oregon coast. Her gentle spirit and generous heart will be missed by all that knew her. In lieu of services a Celebration of Life will be held by the family from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7th at 502 S. Wilbur, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.

Dear Chris, Mike and family,
