Bud passed away May 22 in Waverly, Washington where he born March 27, 1925 to Clarise and Gladys Lundstrum and where Bud also lived most of his life. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1943 and joined the Marine Corps in January 1944. He was stationed in the Pacific while serving in World War II. On November 19, 1947, he wed Doris Lohr and together they had three children. Bud worked for the Spokane County Road Department for 30 years and served as a volunteer firefighter for Spokane County Fire District Number 12 for 47 years. Once retired, he worked seasonally for Wilber-Ellis Company while also serving on the Board of Directors for Waverly Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and three siblings. He is survived by his children, Judy and Jim Korski, Blaine, WA, John and Darlene Lundstrum, Spokane, WA, and Joy and Tony Barbet, Archer, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jacqui Wallace, Patrick Lundstrum, Sarah Lundstrum, Kami Matzek, Mark Barbet, David Barbet and his great-granddaughter Amanda Wallace. Friends are invited to join the family at a Gravesite Service on Tuesday, May 31st at 3:00 p.m. at Fairmont Cemetery in Spokane. There will be a community memorial service at a later date.
