James Kyle Obituary

KYLE,
James D."Jim" (Age 60)

Passed away unexpectedly at his home in Spokane, Washington on Monday, January 31, 2011. Jim was born in Corona, California on May 7, 1950, to Dale and Edna (Shaw) Kyle. He was graduated from Shadle Park Highschool in 1968 and received his Associate Degree from Spokane Community College. For the last several years Jim was an Optician at Shopko. Jim was a good-hearted man, who often placed the needs of others above those of his own. Jim loved being outdoors and was always helping others. He enjoyed watching sports with his sons, but his true love was spending time and playing with his grandchildren and granting all their desires. His smile was infectious. He loved making others laugh and made friends with everyone he met. Jim is survived by his three sons: Brett (Angie), Ryan (Laila), and Brandon (Randi) all of Spokane; two brothers: Larry (Karen) of Spokane and Warren (Cathy) of Denver, Colorado; and his five beloved grandchildren: Abigail and Paityn (Brett and Angie), Chloe and Ryland (Ryan and Laila) and Rilee (Brandon and Randi); and former wife Cheryl (Ken) Kiehn. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Paul Inman. Our Dad left this earth way too soon and we will miss him very much. A memorial service for Jim will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at SPOKANE CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICE - 2832 N RUBY, SPOKANE, WA 99207.

Jim, you will be missed. You looked after our Mom, making sure she got into her house safe at night. You took care of her mail and watched her house when she was away. You were a good friend and neighbor to our Mom, and truly a wonderful person. Cherie Miller (Lynette Wilson, my Mom, his neighbor)
