COMSTOCK, Jean Marie

Jean Marie Comstock of Maple Valley, WA, formerly of Spokane, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Auburn, WA. She was 88.

Jean was born May 18, 1929 in Spokane, WA to Guy and Frances Baldwin. She was raised in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School. Following high school Jean went to work for the Bon Marche, now Macy's as a display designer.

On May 29, 1951, she married Wesley Wayne Comstock in Spokane. They settled in Spokane where they raised five children on Queen Place.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed all types of crafts, sports and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and music. Her family remembers her as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for whom family was the center of her life. She is deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving children, Greg, Robert, Darla and Mark; sister, Ruth; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Deborah; and siblings, Paul, Esther, Phil, John and Dave.

A graveside service will be at 2pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane. A reception will follow at The Onion Bar and Grill, North Spokane.
