Entered the Lord's Kingdom at the age of 68 after a long struggle with her illness. She passed away on April 18th, 2011 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA.
She was born at Sacred Medical Center on February 19, 1943 to Peter and Bernice Polello. She grew-up in the vicinity of the Franklin Park neighborhood and used to play in the tree covered field where Holy Family Hospital now stands.
Joyce had a strong sense of charity and believed in helping the poor. She would provide home cooked meals to the hungry, donate food and clothing to any person of need.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her dearest friends, Patricia Bailey and Toots Robinson. One of her favorite activities that she greatly enjoyed was playing Bingo. She was considered to be in the "A League" of Bingo players because she was able play and keep track of so many cards at one time.
Joyce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Colleen Letsinger; daughter, Misty Keller; two grandchildren, Ashley and Justine; sister, Beverly Goode; bothers, Mike and Pete Polello all of Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by her dear sister Patricia Keller who passed in 2005.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Hospice of Spokane or the Comfort Care Room Fund at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. A Private Service for Family and her closest Friends will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, April 22 at 1PM.
