(Age 63)
Our mother, Kandis "Kandy" Sue (Hunter) Harlow entered into rest May 18, 2011 in Anaconda, Montana. She was born to Donald and Janice Hunter April 27, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up in Hillsboro, OH with her parents and brother Judson with whom she was very close. Kandy raised her family in Elk, Washington and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW.
Her community involvement in Anaconda, MT with the Red Hat Ladies, Food Bank, Metcalf Senior Center, Pintler Pets, and many meaningful friends and associates was extremely important to her. As a breast cancer survivor, she participated in and looked forward to the various Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Awareness Events.
Mom never met a stranger and her love of animals added to a lifetime of compassion, but her greatest pride and joy were, are, and forever will be her children and grandchildren.
We will miss you forever and always.
Kandis is survived by her daughters, Monica Collins, Angela Collins, Laura (Justin) Taylor, and Olivia (Jay) Johnson; and grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Aidan, Evan, Hailey, Hope, and Megan.
At Kandis' request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Anaconda Project Care (Food Bank), 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda, MT 59711 or to Koman for the Cure (Montana affiliate), 1066 Helena Ave., Helena, MT 59601.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of KT RIDDLE FUNERAL HOMES, Anaconda, MT.
