Larry Galbraith Obituary


GALBRAITH, Larry E.

Larry E. Galbraith, age 67, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2011. He was born November 14, 1943, in Wauseon, OH, to Eugene and Doris (Loveland) Galbraith. Larry graduated from Wauseon High School in 1961 and attended Bowl- ing Green State University in Bowling Green OH. He
was a member of the Air National Guard in Toledo, OH. He married Brenda Stoops in 1967, in Wauseon. To that union they had two sons, Jeff and Jason. The family moved to Rathdrum, ID., in 1977 and settled into a wonderful busy family life. After working in the Spokane electronics industry during the 1980's, he and Brenda bought Creative Edge (a curbing business) which later was passed down to their sons. Retiring in 2000, Larry and Brenda enjoyed many winters in Yuma, AZ. They always looked forward to getting back to "home" to spend special camping, fishing, and kayaking adventures with their grandchildren. Those memories will always be in the hearts of Seth, Asher, Lindsey, and Rachel. Larry is survived by his wife, of 43 years Brenda; Mother Doris Galbraith of Wauseon, OH; Sons: Jeff (Debi) and Jason; Sisters Linda (Chuck) Reiner of Eureka, MT, and LuAnn Nye of Palmetto, FL; Brother Dr. Michael Galbraith of Charleston, WV. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene. A special thank you to Hospice of North Idaho and Hayden Valley Assisted Living for their support and care. Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835. Visitation will be Thursday February 10, 2011,from 2-7pm at the English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, ID. The memorial service will be Friday, February 11, 2011 from 2-5pm at the Rathdrum Bible Church in Rathdrum, ID.
