Entered into rest on March 14, 2011. Born May 4, 1918 on Half Moon Prairie, the third child of Hettie and Herman Bottger, and bro-ther to Gladys and Clifford. The family moved to the Hays Park area and Leonard attended Bemis Grade School and graduated from Rogers High School. After working one year for the railroad, he worked on the Coulee Dam for a number of years. Leonard remained in construction work for the next twelve years. He attended Kinman Business University for two years and then became employed by International Harvester from 1950 through 1980. In 1960, he married his loving wife Margaret Northcutt. Leonard enjoyed fishing and gardening and was a proud member of Teamster's International and the Retired Teamsters Association. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two grandchildren, Brian Northcutt and Sara Northcutt Perez; great-granddaughter, Maiya; and daughter-in-law, Eleen Northcutt.
