Linda Lee (Butler) Oliverson (1952 - 2018)

The Guest Book is expired.

On the afternoon of Februaury 17, 2018 Linda Lee Oliverson (Butler) peacefully left this world headed to her next great adventure. Linda was born on November 28, 1952 at 4:31 am at Sacred heart Hospital to James P. Butler and Betty Lou (Trezona) Butler and lived most of her life in Spokane, WA. Lin had a very distinctive laugh that carried for miles and made you smile even if you were not in on the joke, was kind to everyone she met and no animal was a stranger to her. Never one to judge, she gave everyone the benefit of the doubt and would always go the extra mile to be of help. She loved her family and always found the perfect card for birthdays or anniversaries, never forgetting a special day. Music and dancing were her first love but in her second marriage to larry Oliverson she found her true love. They were married on July 5, 1996 and shared 22 years of happiness with the best of days spent outside in their beautiful yard and gardens. Lin joked that dogs were her kids but in reality her "kids", David and Kelly from her second marriage, loved her as their own. After fighting cancer for 2 years and 7 months, never complaining, the cancer finally became too much and she gently passed at home with her beloved Larry by her side. She was always the life of the party and we know where she is now is glad to have her but she is and will continue to be greatly missed here.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and Hospice for their loving care of Lin.

A Celebration of Lin's Life will be held on July 7th from 12:00 to 4:00 at her friends the Pratt's - 3920 N. Farr Rd, Spokane, WA and all are welcome. For info please call Larry Oliverson at (509)922-0941.

Lin is interred at Pines Cemetery.
