Linda Sauter Obituary

SAUTER, Linda M.
(Age 63)

Born November 16, 1947 to Andrew and Justine (Bender) Ackerman in Spokane; passed away March 20, 2011 in Spokane. Linda graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. She moved to Lewiston, Idaho in 1974 with her husband, Bob and new daughter, Jennifer. While working at Potlach Corporation she went to Lewis Clark State College successfully graduating as valedictorian. Linda and Bob built their dream home in Spokane and moved into it in 1990. Linda had to quit work in 1993 for health reasons but that gave her more time to listen to her favorite music and crochet. She was also the librarian for the National Crochet Guild for several years. She also loved rescuing animals whether from street or the shelters. Linda is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Jennifer; mother, Justine Ackerman and sister, Ruth Lee. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew and her sister, Betty Zielke. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 26, 11:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the family home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society or the National Alzheimer's Association. Please visit Linda's online tribute and leave a condolence at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com.
