CARLSON, Lloyd Herbert
(Age 81)
Passed away February 5, 2011 in Spokane, WA. He was born August 4, 1929 in Spokane to Axel and Clara Carlson. Lloyd married Marjorie Ann Hall in August of 1946 in Spokane. He worked for Pacific Northwest Alloy and later on at Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years. After his retirement, Lloyd and Marjorie became snowbirds down in Desert Shores, CA. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, archery, hunting, watching the Mariners, golfing, bowling and especially loved polka music. Lloyd always took care of his family and loved them very much. He is survived by his children, James L. (Pam) Carlson, Linda L. (Patrick) Hoskins, Judy K. (Jeff) Witcher and Terri D. McNeilly; grandchildren, Eric Carlson, Marie Alvarez, Stacy Carlson, Scott Hoskins, Karen Harke, Kristie Witcher, Keith Witcher, Wayne McNeilly and Wade McNeilly; great-grandchildren, MacKenzye Carlson, Raphael Alvarez Carlson, Christopher Harke, Josh Harke, Ashley Harke, Emilie Urick, Ethan Urick, Alexandria Benson, Austyn Witcher, Shania Witcher, Alyssa Witcher, Bradley McNeilly, Mikayla McNeilly, Taryn McNeilly, Mackenzie McNeilly, Kaydee McNeilly, Olivia McNeilly, Mason McNeilly and Brock McNeilly. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Carlson and his parents. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 12 Noon until 5 PM at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2 PM at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Spokane, P.O.
