Of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at Ovid Health Care Center.
Funeral services for Louise will be held Monday, April 11th at 11am at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Dale Golden officiating. Interment will be in Lafayette Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 4-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Choice.
Louise was born January 31, 1922 in Spokane, Washington the daughter of E. Earl and Carrie May (Hammerly) Reitzel. She married Allan Goward, whom she met at a USO function in Yakima, Washington, on March 31, 1943. Louise enjoyed gardening, helping her husband on their farm and fishing.
She is surivived by one son Allan (Debora) Goward of Ovid; and a sister, Earline McCormack of Mead, Washington and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Allan in 1985.
