Entered into rest March 28, 2011 at her home in Reardan, WA. She was born May 18, 1934 in Spokane, WA to Albert and Kathryn Pohle and was raised in the Deep Creek area. After graduation from Reardan High School she worked for several chemical companies as a book keeper in the Reardan area. Lucille retired in 1999 after serving as city clerk for the Town of Reardan for 13 years. Preceded in death by her parents Albert and Kathryn Pohle, brother Jim Pohle and son Tom Rettkowski. Lucille is survived by her husband, Hugh of 59½ years; three children Linda (Jerry) Dougherty, Mary Ann (Richard) Rinker, Reardan, Julie (Rick) Campbell, (Medical Lake) and daughter-in-law LaVerne Rettkowski, Reardan. Lucille is blessed with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and they were truly the center of her family's life. A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Reardan, Washington and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Davenport, Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, Washington, 99210; St. Michael's Church, PO Box 429, Reardan, Washington, 99029; or a charity of one's choice. STRATE FUNERAL HOME, DAVENPORT, WA is caring for the family.
