MATTHEWS, Mabel S.
Our wonderful family member, Mabel S. Matthews went home to be with her Lord Jesus on April 14, 2011, at Regency at Northpointe, Spokane, WA. She was born at Fort Spokane on August 17, 1917. She joins her husband, Ray Matthews, son, Burl Hamilton, and daughter, Wanda Tuley. Mabel was a member of Mending Fences Fellowship and loved her church. She retired from the Hanford Site as a Lab Tech in the 1970's and was known as a very hard worker. Her prayers to God always included asking him to take care of her family. Mabel is survived by her loving family: Grandchildren, Mike (Sue) Hamilton, LouAnn (Clint) Pierce, Teresa (John) Garman, Sherrie Evans, Bryant Guymon, Kristie Henson, Julie Binderim; Daughter-in-law, Nell Hamilton; Best Friend, Goldie Tuininga; Great-grandchildren, Chad (Bridgit) Shales, Jeremy (Krissi) Fudge, Adam (Nicole) Pierce, Shawn Pierce, Angie (Allan) Fullerton, David Hamilton, Sarah (Jefferson) Thomas, Jamie Garman, Nicole, Paul Jr., Steven Evans, Eli, & Kelsey Guymon, Ryan (Hannah), Rustin (Nichole) Henson, Shaine (Andrea) Binderim, Angie (Jason) Saunders; Great-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Hallie, Nathan, Schuyler, Brittani, Tiffani, Taylor, Kailey, Katie, Mackendra, Sami, Tyler, Ashley, and Madalyn. Viewing will be, today, Saturday, April 16, 2011, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N Division, Spokane. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 18th, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Mending Fences Fellowship Church, E 1906 Sprague, Spokane, WA, with Pastor Kevin Chen officiating.
