Surrounded by family at the Oregon Coast, Marcia Ruth Goldman was called home to her Savior in her sleep. Born at Fairchild AFB, she spent her early life with parents Ruth, Ernest and brother Erik Lampi in North Dakota & Danville, WA. She was a Class of ‘71 graduate of Curlew High School.

Marcia began her lifelong Nursing career at Deaconess Hospital in 1974, skillfully ushering countless new lives into this world. Particularly skilled at snatching falling objects, she was known to quip, “I catch babies for a living.”

She won the heart of her husband of 40 years, Eugene Goldman, with an apple pie. They were married 2/25/78 and commenced her life’s work: raising their four children, born in 6 years.

She was known for putting the needs of others ahead of her own, and her cheesecake was legendary. She and Gene moved to Davenport, WA in 2007, and she retired in 2015.

Her remaining family who await their heavenly reunion are the following: Husband Eugene and Brother Erik; daughter Bethany & her husband Tom; her son Gabriel, his wife Dana; her daughter Rebecca; youngest son Daniel, and his wife Amy. She also leaves behind seven (and a half) grandchildren.

Her Celebration of Life will be held 8/11/18 at 11am at Sozo Church, 2131 W. Woodside Ave, Spokane.
