CORDES,
Margaret A.
(Wright)

She was employed with Spokane School District #81 Food Service, eventually retiring in 1999. Margaret enjoyed sewing, was active in the Whitworth Women's Auxiliary, and served in several capacities at Whitworth Presbyterian Church. Margaret was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Her care, thoughtfulness, and incredible wit will be joyously remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include: Son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jennifer Cordes; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Tom Yearout; grandsons David Yearout and Braeden Cordes; granddaughters Laurie Yearout and Kaila Cordes; sister Janet Orr; sister/brother-in-law, Annetta and Don Farr; a niece, three nephews, their spouses, children and grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Whitworth Presbyterian Church, 312 W. Hawthorne Road, Spokane 99251. In lieu of flowers, Margaret's family members suggest donations in her name to Whitworth Church, Whitworth University, or the Parkinsons Foundation.

Mark and Julie so sorry for the loss of your mother. I have many fond memories of good times spent with both of your parents at Diamond Lake. Your mom was a very good person always happy and I know she will be truly missed. I am sorry to have lost touch with her over the last few years.
