BRUNTON, Marjorie Marjorie Elizabeth Brunton (Richardson) received her promotion to heaven on April 5, 2013 at the age of 92. We called her "Grams" but you may remember her as "The Granny" who greeted people and poured coffee at Granny's Buffet on Sunday's and then later did the same at The Golden Corral. She was also known as "Mrs. Dooley" in the St. Patrick Day parades for over 20 years. "Grams" was recognized in the community as the lady that decorated and wore a "hat" for every occasion. She was a member of the Hillyard Belles, Trainmen, and Show Band. She was active in numerous clubs, centers, groups and community events. She was a lifetime member and volunteer at the Sinto Senior Activity Center. "Grams" is now at peace and reunited with her daughters, Margie Rigsby and Beverly Tucker. She is also back with her mother, Georgia Williams Cameron; sons-in-law: Chuck Rigsby and Danny Cameron Sr.; and husbands, Richard Richardson and Al Brunton. "Grams" is survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a growing number of great-great-grandchildren. If there are parades in heaven, "Grams" is wearing one of her "special hats" and riding in a dignitary car waving and smiling. "Grams" was an amazing woman who touched the lives of so many. She is loved and will be missed. Service is Friday, May 3rd at 1:00 pm at Hazen and Jaeger, 1306 N. Monroe. Burial at Greenwood with a Reception to follow at Sinto Senior Activity Center at 1124 W. Sinto. Family requests in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Sinto Senior Activity Center in honor of Gram's.
