Marjorie Gow Obituary

GOW, Marjorie (Hogue)
(Age 79)

Passed away peacefully on Jan. 30 while suffering with dementia. She was born in Naples, Idaho, moved to Spokane in 1950 and married Clifford B. Hogue, also from Naples. She worked at various secretarial and clerical positions including the Spokesman Review, Fireman's Fund, Lanco Insurance and later as church secretary at both Zion Lutheran and Manito Presb. churches. Later in life she began square dancing and enjoyed traveling around the Northwest attending shows. She loved her home on Maringo Drive in the Valley, in which she lived for nearly 50 years. Later in life she married Gerald Gow, who precedes her in death, as do her brother Leonard Schauer of Emmett, Idaho, and sister Bette Doyle of Naples. She is survived, and will be missed greatly by her brother Bernard Schauer of Lewiston, Id, former husband Clifford Hogue, Spokane and son Kevin Hogue, Goa, India, as well as nephew Tim Doyle, Spokane and various other nieces and nephews in Idaho. Service arrangements will be at a later date at Zion Lutheran church. Burial plot is at Pines cemetery in the Valley. Contributions, if desired, can be made to Horizon Hospice in her name. Marjorie was a great caring, patient and loving mother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Margie has a very special place in my heart. She was a very good mother figure to her step son Rob Gow who passed back in 1992. She was so loving & caring and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to her and her family and friends. Sincerely, Kellee Jo Gardner
