LaBute,
Marlene K.

A loving mother, sister and friend. Marlene passed away unexpectedly. She went home to Jesus on April 5th, 2011. She was born June 17th, 1944 to Martin and Margaret Schumacher. Marlene was born and raised in Spokane, where she met the love of her life John LaBute. They lived most of their lives in Deer Park, WA, where they raised five great kids: John J. Jr. "Jay" (Theresa) LaBute of Elk, Kaye Lynn (Steve) Sheridan of Spokane, Greg R. (Teresa) LaBute of Spokane, Bill T. (Nancy) LaBute of Chattaroy and Kriss A. (Allen) Arnold of the Spokane Valley. Preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, and two siblings, Ray and Arlene. Marlene has one surviving sibling, her twin sister Darlene (Andy) Keon of Colbert. Marlene and John have eleven grandchildren: Crystal Ann LaBute, Stephanie Davis, Stevie, Brelyn Sheridan, Nikki, Preston LaBute, Joey, Ryan, Colton LaBute, Tyler, Mckenzie Arnold; three great grandchildren: Christian, Jayden and Savannah LaBute. Marlene loved her flowers, feeding the birds and the deer. She had the most generous spirit, and her real joys were spending time with her family and friends and her beloved puppy "Sadie". She also enjoyed baking and sharing with her family. She had a beautiful smile and loving and giving heart. She was loved and will be missed beyond measure, by all who knew her. Rest in Peace Our Precious Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 12th, 1:00-6:00 with the Rosary to follow at 7pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4305 N.
