Matthew Dickson Obituary

DICKSON,
Matthew
Thomas

Our loving son, brother, uncle, and friend was taken from his mom and dad's loving arms at 11:24 P.M. January 21, 2011 into God's loving arms for eternity. Matthew's pain and solitude "Day & Night" will never again be endured. Matthew was born in Hamilton Montana on August 11, 1986. He was attending college and had just changed his major to criminal justice. He was happy that he was again going to be able to return to Spokane and get his life back on track. Build a career and one day a family.
Matthew was the "FIX IT" man, mechanic work was what he loved doing, and teaching and showing his nephew Andrew how to do mechanics. Matthew's ambitions were big, goals were enormous, and expectations were beyond his reach. He had a multitude of friends in Hamilton Mont., Casa Grande Ariz., Tempe Ariz., and Spokane Wash. His smile and attitude would fill any room with joy. His love for everyone was tender, and lifelong. Matthew was happiest when he was with his family members.
Matthew is survived by his mom Betty Belshe of Hamilton; dad Wayne (Casey) Leedy of Hamilton; sisters Aleicia Dickson of Spokane, Carolyn Frohlich of Hamilton, Lani Fierce of Hamilton; Nieces and Nephew Cora Grenfell, Alexandria Bergman and Andrew Bergman; Uncles Bruce and Jayr Carnline of the open roads of United States (truck drivers); his maternal Grandmother Betty Huravitch of Harlotown; Father Marvin Dickson of Billings and Paternal Grandmother Ruth Wildin of Billings; his special Aunt Karen of Billings, numerous cousins, and family throughout Montana, Arizona, and California.
We will be celebrating Matthew's life on his birthday August 11, 2011 at 1149 Hwy. 93 North at mom and dad's. Friends please bring memories, pictures and your love to share with us all. We will begin at noon with an open house and have a bonfire at dark. Tents are welcome if you choose to stay and spend time. Refreshments and food will be available and welcomed by all.
Matthew we all love you, and miss you. We know you are watching over us until we can all be together again.

I met Matt a few years back through a mutual friend, and we had some pretty good times around the bonfire sharing some drinks. My boyfriend of the time was being a jerk but Matt was there to tell me how pretty i was and i didnt deserve it he was such a nice man. I will be praying for healing and strength for his family. May he be resting with God now.
