Melvin PENFIELD Obituary
PENFIELD, Melvin E.
He was born November 10, 1929 in Yakima, WA. He earned his wings on March 28, 2012. Served in the Air Force from 1952 until 1972 when he retired in Spokane, WA. He loved fishing and working with cars. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Yvonne; daughter, Denise (Mike); son, Rick (Shannon). Grandchildren: Autumn, Sean (Stacey), Seth (Tiffany). Great-grandchildren: Bailey, Avery, Wrangler and Irelynd. Brother, Ed and sister, Loretta. Also many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be at the Washington State Veterans Memorial in Medical Lake.
A celebration of his life will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Birchtree M.H.C. at S. 304 Conklin Rd., in the club house from 1 to 4 p.m.
