Neva was born on September 19, 1926 in Wilbur, WA. She grew up with a house full of seven children. She was one of five sisters and two brothers. Her first job was at Ma's Café, where she worked until marrying John McDaniel. Further employment included work as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, while living in Reardan, WA. And several years working at Keytronics in the Spokane Valley. Neva was an active member in TOPS Chapter #1067 for many years.
Throughout the course of her life, Neva lived in many places including Wilbur, WA; Chicago, IL; Dayton, WA; Spokane, WA; Reardan, WA; Usk, WA; Sandpoint, ID; and Lake Stevens, WA. In 1979 Neva returned to Spokane and lived there for the majority of her remaining years.
The most notable thing about Neva was her dedication to always helping and caring for family and friends. There are many others, not mentioned here, who would consider Neva family and say that she was instrumental in their lives. She was a great example of the unconditional love that Christ teaches.
She will be greatly missed and remembered forever.

My sister and I were two of those "adopted" by her. As far I am concerned she is my gramma. She was a very caring and loving person and I look forward to seeing her again someday in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know she was a great loving person to so many. She is now with our Lord Jesus Christ and that is wonderful. May that knowledge be of some help in your grieving.
