THOENY, Rebecca Jean (Little)

Born June 4, 1932; Passed away February 3, 2018

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, James and Reeva Little, her two brothers Peter and Billy, her nephews Bob McDonald, Joe McDonald and Jed Little, and one granddaughter, Jessica Slaney.

Becky had two dates in her life that were most important to her. The first date was when she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on December 21, 1947. Becky lived up to that dedication all of her life. The second date was when she married Adrian Thoeny in Glasgow, Montana on May 25th, 1951.

Becky grew up on a farm in Eastern Montana and was used to feeding the harvesters. One of her greatest pleasures was to feed large groups, or go to large gatherings with food for large groups.

Of prime importance to Becky were the Door to Door ministry, Spiritual Assemblies and Conventions, and Theocratic Meetings. In fact, just two days before she passed away she attended her last meeting via phone tie in.

Becky was a strong hardworking person who loved people. Last August, when Becky was diagnosed with cancer, she took the blow standing tall and fought back. Even in the face of death she showed her true inner person of the heart by being kind and thankful to everyone who helped her. She would ask how THEY were doing when visitors came. Becky passed away with a house full of guests, family, friends and loving caretakers.

Becky's memorial service will be held on February 24, 2018, 4:30 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 949 N. Syringa Rd., Post Falls, Idaho.
