This is Augie's sister, Linda Kuntz, and I just want to thank all of you that have written on this site, for your kind words about my brother..they have touched me. I was very lucky to have spent his last 33 days with him in the Hospice wing of the VA Hospital in Spokane. He was kind til the very end and we all miss him very much. He is at peace..he is in pain no more.

We were friends over 30 years, from the Chapter days onward. Working together the past 21 years, we shared many of life's ups & downs. He handled this past year in full "Augie" character, more concerned about everyone else, wanting us all to be happy, never once complained, saying this was just the "luck of the draw", and only sorry he couldn't have helped more. So his struggle is over, he can rest in peace, he was much loved by so many, and leaves a huge void in so many lives, and the golf course. We'll see one another again one day.

I learned a great deal about life from Richard. I think about times we shared the last few years every day. Rest in Peace - Larry Frankel (Spokane, WA)

We knew him as Dick throughout college. He was the Best Man at our wedding over 43 years ago. He wrote to us from Viet Nam and visited us in Germany. He introduced us to Mud Pie at Chapter XI. We will miss him.

I will never forget your sparkling blue eyes Augie and the great times we all had at Chapter XI. You were such a good friend to me back in the early 70s when you were finishing law school. You were so kind to my parents throughout the years as their attorney as well~
Rest in peace dear guy ~ you will never be forgotten.

Augie Daddy. We are never ready to leave a good party. Memories of great times in high school, Good Ol Mrs. Scott and the hallway, WSU-Theta Chi- Willie, Chapter 11 and a cocktail or six. May fond memories bring peace and healing for your family.

Kindness and loyalty to family and friends were his stock in trade. He left us too soon... but left us with memories worth recalling often.

Auggie Daddy! Our time for departing is never right. You lived life to its fullest, shared a million laughs and spent lots of money on golf balls! Fond memories of Good Ol Mrs. Scott and the hall, WSU and Willie, drinks and dinner at Chapter 11 and all the crazy times together are cherished! May your family find comfort in their memories of you.

Losing my dad so shortly after my mom was difficult, but you made getting through the process of a will and the estate so much easier than it would have been. You were kind and patient and for that I will always be thankful. It grieves me to know that your time here on earth was shorter than it should have been. Rest in Peace.
