Dear Linda and family, I met Bob at the Yakima State Farm office in April of 1984. When we left the meeting he turned to me and said "I like you..you're hired". I had no idea what I was getting into but he sure made it exciting. I never wanted to let him down. He gave me the chance of a lifetime and I will always be grateful. Peace and joy to you as you treasure the memories.

Bob had an impact on many of us. He could be a tough customer, but all he wanted was everybody to be their best. I also remember when he walked out of my agency interview. I didn't know it, but Bob felt I was 'in' and he didn't see the need to sit through the rest of the interview. A bit unnerving if you are the interviewee!! Rest peacefully Bob.

Linda, I will never forget the day Bob called to tell me that he finally had and Agency opening in Yakima. After a year and a half as newlyweds, commuting over the pass on the weekends, Tony and I could finally be together. After he gave me the good news he called my Dad and told him he felt me give him the biggest hug right through the phone. I hope you can feel my hug right now. With much love and sympathy for you and the entire family.

Bob gave me the opportunity to work with State Farm, which I did for 34 years and had a great career. He was a good manager and I am thankful for helping our family.

Dear Linda and family,

I will never forget the time Bob, and Mike Mandick, came to our home in University Place to appoint me as a State Farm Agent. We were sitting in our family room, where Bob flung his leg over the arm of the chair he was sitting in, and asked me why I wanted to be a State Farm Agent. I loved him immediately!

I will always cherish the memories, trips, friendship, and opportunity Bob brought into our lives.

With much love,
Debbie and Craig Daniels
