Roger Ferris Obituary

FERRIS, Roger

Born June 14, 1944 to February 23, 2011. Roger retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe after 28 years as a Clerk. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Helen Ferris. Roger was a great husband and is survived by his loving wife Joanne and best friend of 13 years, his three step daughters, Melissa Jokinen and her two kids Christina and Bart; Michelle and Vern Everson and son Mathew and daughter Alisha; Sabrina and Ed Schafer and their daughter Chaune, his two great grandchildren Anjel and Jadyn, all who he loved so much. Roger had a sister Louis and her husband Rod Bell, two nieces Jenny and Jenett, nephew John, Auntie Re, who he loved very much, Auntie Pat and also many cousins. Roger had many friends who loved him. Roger had a big heart and will always. He will be remembered for his lovely smile, his kind eyes, and his ability to always see the good in people. Roger never complained about his short battle with cancer. He loved the Lord with all his heart and said when he is called home to not be sad, but happy that he is finally where he longed to be. I will miss my best friend and loving husband. He will always be in my heart.
