Ronald Gibbs Obituary

GIBBS,
Ronald

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved friend, Ronald Gibbs on February 2, 2011. He left this earth after an astounding show of strength, perseverance, and determination. Ron leaves behind his beloved dog and two children, Summer and Daniel Gibbs. Ron was born
in California on June 5, 1959 but called Coeur d'Alene his home. He was such a people person who made friends with anyone who talked to him. Ron's spare time was spent fishing, camping and just "kickin it". His humor and his easy laughing even at the end; were a source of motivation. He was a fighter and wanted to live for his girlfriend and children. His girlfriend was a gift sent by God. She stood by his side and was diligent in his care. Ron fell deeply in love with her and both were content and happy with just being with each other. Ron's heart just couldn't take anymore suffering. After six months of being in the hospital/nursing home, he was able to be home with his girlfriend before being taken to Heaven to be with his mother and father. There will be no memorial, per Ron's request.
