Rosalie Cleveland Obituary

CLEVELAND, Rosalie J.
(Age 68)

Entered into the presence of our Lord at home with her family by her side on February 21, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Rosalie was born November 17, 1942 in Spokane, Washington to George and Margaret Slater. She was the oldest of four children.

Rosalie was employed in various clerical positions throughout her life, most recently as a Medical Transcriptionist at Holy Family Hospital until her retirement in 2003. In her free time she enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, knitting and especially quilting. She will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Slater. She is survived by her husband of 47 years James, son Scott (Carol), daughter Amy (Glen), sisters Kay (Tom) and Ardyce, brother Marvin (Cathy), grandsons Adam and Zachary, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on March 5, 2011 at 1 pm at Northview Bible Church, 13521 North Mill Road, Spokane WA 99208.

We regret not being there in Spokane at this time, but our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and pray especially for your continued strength on this day. We are so thankful for the visit we had with you and Rosalie in Yuma in January. May your loving memories of such a special lady give you joy and peace in the days to come. Love to all of you, Mick and Virginia

I have lived in Michigan for 45 years but Rosalie and I were friends in high school. We were in the same homeroom and had many classes together. My prayers go out to her husband and family. Betty (Williams) Lamb
