Visitation will be Friday, June 3rd from 12-5 at Hennessey Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St., Spokane. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1 pm and will also be conducted Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home , with committal to follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Shawn, I am so sad to hear that you have gone, I have been away a while. When I think of you I think of your humor and your acceptance of people for who they are and their right to be different. Shawn,
I'm glad we got to be friends again. Thanks for helping me through a tough time, and letting me talk you through your 40th birthday. Then later honking at me because I wouldn't make a left turn on red(when the sign clearly said no turn on red).
You were never afraid of a challenge. You were ahead of your time.
I wish I could have talked to you when you called me about gift certificates this past Mother's Day.(always thinking of others)
I know that you're in a better place and that you'll be back :)

I replied, well thank you for the compliment. I am very sad that you are gone, but I am also greatful that you are not suffering anymore. Shawn, I am so grateful to have found you again this past year. I truly enjoyed being your neighbor and all fun we had in our younger years. Looking at the recent time we had spent together, talking over dinner, and shooting some pool, and catching up in our lives. Im going to miss you very much.
