Sherry Huck Obituary

HUCK, Sherry (Sharon)
11/8/1945 - 1/29/2011

Born to Christian and Frances Huck and survived by daughter Tiffany; siblings Jerry, Ken (Gwen), Ron (Sue), Carol and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents. She made her home in the Olympia area, working as a teacher and then with the Migrant Education Program until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe with Tiffany. Sherry had recently purchased a new home in Tumwater. With the help of Ken, she had made a beautiful, comfortable place to showcase her accomplishments and relax with Max, her dog and her memories of Sunny, her cat. She enjoyed holidays and playing the slots at the casino. We love you! Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. -" 4 p.m. at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Rd. Funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the Mausoleum at Riverside Memorial Park, 508 N. Government Way. Please sign Sherry's online guestbook at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com. Its been years ago since Sharons passing. Sharons work in Migrant Education was appreciated and her efforts helped establish the foundation of a great program. She was diligent and hard working. I pray that Tiffany is well.

So sorry to hear. Sharon was very detail oriented and had a soft spot for the underdog. And she loved Tiffany so much. Sharon will be remembered by many.

So sorry to hear of Sharons passing. We worked together for many years and I appreciated her attention to detail, and enjoyed her stories about Tiffany the dogs, cats and her family. She will be missed by many people.
