Silverio Edilio Calzada, --Eddie', was born August 20th, 1942 in Havana, Cuba. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1980 where he met his wife Elizabeth. They lived with their two sons Louie and Koreem in Los Angeles until 1989, when they moved to Spokane to be near their family and friends. Eddie and Elizabeth were married on April 2nd, 1990.
Eddie loved to sing and dance to any song playing on the radio. He was always very happy and cheerful and he always seemed to be smiling and just wanted everyone to have a great time no matter where we were. Eddie also loved to play Bingo with Elizabeth and loved going to the casino to play blackjack. Eddie loved his family and friends so much and did anything for them. He had a very giving heart and never let anyone he knew go without. His best times were spent with his grandkids, he loved playing with them and he was so happy and proud to be Grandpa to all of them.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Calzada, two sons; Koreem and Louis, and five grandchildren; Anthony, Ivan, Zion, Analeah, and Alora. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws Louis --Beatle' Redfox (Marian), Larry Redfox (Monica), Aloysiouss --Skippy' Redfox, Jr., sister in laws Doreen Aho and Laney Redfox, Jennifer Nelson and Noemi Crizaldo. He also had a very large extended family of friends from Spokane and Montana, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins whom he loved very much.
A memorial service will be held Monday April 18th, 2011 at All Nations Christian Center, 1827 E Pacific, Spokane, WA 99202

Eddy was a good loving family man,and he was my husband,who i spent 30 of the best years of my life with.I don't understand why he had to leave us so soon.I pray to God everyday that he is ok,whervever it is we go when we leave this earth.Ihope he is at peace and with his family and friends that went before him. Ilook forward to the day when we will be togethor again.We love you and there won't be a day that goes bye that you won't be remembered.Your life here on earth was short,but God called you home.love you forever, your wife and family.

I first met Eddie and Elizabeth at SYSA Bingo when I worked there. He was always smiling, and making sure he was making others smile. A heartfelt condolence goes out to his family in their time of loss.
